Refinanced approx. 10 months ago at a high interest rate while performing a debt consolidation causing the mortgage payment to become unmanageable high. We have a shortage in our escrow so they say and they raised our payment to almost $1,600.00 a month, we tried to get them to drop the escrow and they refuse.  Our payment without escrow is $1,085.72 which we can pay for now until who knows what they are going to raise it to when it adjusts in Oct.  We owe a shortage of $613.04 in escrow which we said we would pay if they would just cancel are escrow and us only pay the $1,085.72 which is the interest and principal.  We have never been 30 days late on a payment. Our mortgage company is Washington Mutual one which just changed but they have not sent us a letter saying what they changed to.  We have medical bills out the wazoo.  We have a 2 1/2 year old that has a chronic condition which they do not know what it is, we are going to the MAYO Clinic in Oct to hopefully find out what is wrong with him.  We also have an 8 month old who was born with Respitory distress syndrome and was put in the NICU.  Our bills our in medical alone our killing us , we have insurance but between the premimum of$134.84 a week then the $2,000.00 deductables and the very high copays, not to mention the poor economy right now we can not afford to live. We have a second mortgage with Ocwen and need a loan modification with Ocwen
